Professional background: I worked in healthcare for 15 years (BS in Health Care Management). I have also worked as a Real Estate Broker for 26 years (MBA). I have served as a member of the Board of Lay Ministry for 11 years at Christ Lutheran Church (CLC). I completed the Licensed Deacon Program offered through the Michigan District in 2011. I then served as a Licensed Deacon for 7 years at CLC. I continued my education and by the colloquy process at Concordia Seminary in 2018 was certified as a Specific Ministry Pastor. I was ordained and installed at CLC in August of 2018 as the Assistant to the Pastor. Served as vacancy pastor at CLC from July 2021 until August 2022. Now serving as the settled pastor since September of 2022.

Family background: Married to my understanding wife Caroline for almost 40 years. She holds her doctorate of physical therapy and works as the supervisor of Rehabilitation Services at the Battle Creek Veterans Administration Hospital. We have one daughter, Molly, who is married to Johnathan and they have blessed up with one grandchild Brewer, who is 3 years old and one more expected and anticipated with much joy in January.

Hobbies/Interest: Spending time with my family and grandchild, soon to be grandchildren. Spending time paying hobby farmer on my small acreage and tending to a few hives of honey bees. I truly am loving being a grandparent most of all.

I am a life-long Lutheran and enjoy being able to share the love of Christ with any who have ears to hear. I am blessed to be able to serve alongside a loving and caring congregation that truly understands all we do is for the glory of God. Soli Deo Gloria!
